Manley Farms Home
Welcome to Manley Farms: Home of the Fainting Goat!
We are located in beautiful central Georgia.
On the farm, we raise myotonic (fainting) goats,
a miniature donkey and squirrel dogs. We have 80 pecan
trees, blackberry bushes, pear trees and
muscadine vines. See our U-Pick page for
availability. Our animals are on a program of
deworming and our goats
are given a CD&T vaccination once a year.
We test for CAE and Johnne's. The tests were
negative in March 2008.
From time to time we will have
some of our friends available. If you have
any questions, please email

We breed Myotonic or fainting goats.
The Fainting Goat is a rare breed that has a
condition called myotonia. The goat seems
to faint when startled but actually
never losses consciousness. These goats are
also known as Tennessee Meat Goats
or stiff leg goats.
We prefer that our other goats remain as
pets, breeding stock or as show animals. Our puppies
we do not vaccinate them for rabies until they
are 4 months of age. Their training to hunt begins
about five to six months old. Not only are
they small hunting dogs, but they make
wonderful
house pets.
When we sell a myotonic (fainter) goat, all
health records and transfer or registration papers will
accompany the animal.
If you are interested in purchasing
